GMA Industries is a leading manufacturer of ZVI powder used for industrial, commercial and environmental remediation applications (soil and groundwater). GMA’s ZVI product is manufactured from 100% recycled virgin cast iron residual material from trusted OEM manufacturers.
Our manufacturing process includes thermal treatment to remove unwanted residual oils, air washing to cleanse particles for a clean surface area, magnetic separation to remove non-Fe contaminants and multiple screening units for consistent optimal particle size.
Reclaim contaminated soil and groundwater in situ with our ZVI product that eliminates chlorinated solvents such as TCE and PCE, selenium, arsenic, lead, mercury and many other pollutants. Common to a variety of industrial, military and mining sites, these contaminants can be virtually eliminated through the use of granular iron mixed with other ingredients to treat the affected sites.
GMA Industries can show you how our ZVI remediation product can help reduce water-borne inorganic ions, releasing soluble Fe (II) in their place and oxidizing further into Fe (III). By creating a permeable reactive barrier (PRB), our ZVI product reacts with VOC contaminants in groundwater leaving only decontaminated ground water on the other side of the barrier.
